These verification requirements are mandated by the UK Financial
Conduct Authority (FCA) and apply to all payment processors
operating in the UK. Their purpose is to confirm the individuals
responsible for overseeing your organisation and to ensure
compliance with enhanced Know Your Customer (KYC) standards.
To meet these regulatory obligations, Stripe, our secure payment
partner, now requires all organisations, including charities and
non-profits, to provide basic information about their directors,
trustees, or key officers during onboarding.
You will complete this verification directly within the Stripe
portal, which you will be automatically redirected to as part of
your onboarding process with iDonatio.
